Move with confidence, rebuild strength, and safely return to the running you enjoy.

Advanced Motion Physical Therapy uses running gait analysis and a comprehensive physical therapy evaluation to assess your running mechanics, strength, mobility, and movement patterns. By analyzing how you move while running, our Doctors of Physical Therapy can identify factors that may contribute to pain, injury, or difficulty returning to your previous level of activity.
We also use handheld dynamometer testing to objectively measure muscle strength and identify strength differences that may affect your ability to run safely. These measurements help guide your rehabilitation and determine when you are ready to progress back to running.
Our goal is to help you restore healthy movement, rebuild confidence, and safely return to the running you enjoy.

Returning to running involves more than simply waiting for pain to improve. We evaluate your movement, strength, and physical readiness to help guide a safe and individualized return.

Handheld dynamometer testing provides objective measurements of muscle strength. We use this information to identify strength deficits or side-to-side differences and evaluate your readiness to safely return to running.

Your program combines your assessment results with corrective exercise, strengthening, movement training, and a gradual progression back to running based on your individual needs and goals.

A safe return to running involves more than changing your shoes or running technique. Strength, mobility, movement patterns, training demands, previous injuries, and running mechanics can all influence how your body responds to running.
Our approach looks at the whole picture. By combining running gait analysis with objective strength testing and a comprehensive movement evaluation, we can better understand your individual needs and develop a plan for progressing back to running.
Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, your return is guided by your movement, strength, symptoms, and functional readiness.
Our team includes clinicians with special interests in performance training, sports injuries, and biomechanical movement analysis. We use running gait analysis, strength testing, corrective exercise, and functional movement training to help runners address limitations and safely progress toward their goals.
Treatment may include manual therapy, corrective exercise, strengthening, functional movement training, and progressive running activities. Objective testing helps us track your progress and make informed decisions about when and how to advance your running program.
Whether you're recovering from an injury or working toward getting back to your previous running routine, let Advanced Motion Physical Therapy help you rebuild strength, improve movement, and return to running with confidence.
